Leading Artfully
From Pianoscapes – the web site of Michael Jones
“A bird does not sing because it has the answer. It sings because it has a song“. A Chinese proverb
Diane Cory, Leadership Consultant writes… ” When you have time or are in need of deep insight and thoughtful imagining in the form of beautifully written reflections on leadership, please consider spending time visiting Michael’s blog. It is filled with the kind of new mental models, refreshingly organic and wholesome, that can inform our increasingly rather narrow definitions of the kind of leadership we can and should provide in our organizations.
Welcome to my blog Leading Artfully. I am a speaker, leadership educator, pianist /composer and writer. Leading Artfully explores news, events, stories and ideas related to the practice of leadership, artistry and community. While many writers explore style, process and leadership issues, this blog explores the deep parallels between leadership and creative practice. They represent the expansion of ideas first introduced through my two books; Artful Leadership ( 2006) and Creating an Imaginative Life (1995) excerpts and copies of which can be obtained through my web site Pianoscapes.com.
Thanks for visiting and I look forward to hearing from you.
